Steve Lambert is the Shit.

Meet Steve Lambert. You’ve probably already heard of a couple of his kick-ass projects:

—first, there was his fake edition of the New York Times that screamed the headline “IRAQI WAR ENDS”

—then there was the amazingly delicious firefox add-on, “Add-Art,” which replaces adds on websites with curated art images:

And now he strikes again with the capitalism truck. Steve Lambert says we need to be able to talk about capitalism. We need to be able to bring up the subject of capitalism without fearing its taboo status and get over the “there’s no other option” mentality. His kickstarter page lays out the details of the project he’s embarking on, but basically he wants to build a truck with an enormous sign that reads “Capitalism.” He then wants drive around the country and have people vote “yes” or “no” to the question “Capitalism: does it work for me?”

Pretty sweet, right? Since the project has already received more donations than it needs, we expect to see this up and running sometime soon, and we hope we get to vote. New York City, does capitalism work for you? Better yet—downtown Manhattan, does capitalism work for you?
